01 The cables for Micros IDN POS Printer Interface Cable RJ45 to DB-25 8 Pin to 25 Pin Male Converter Connector Cable.
This cable converts the RJ45 IDN or RS422-A/RS422-B ports (WS/4 & 4/LX and COM Ports 2 & 5 on a WS5, 5a, and 6.
Compatible With Most Major POS Systems – Compatible With Micros™, Aldelo, PC America, FuturePOS, and Many More.
This cable converts the RJ45 IDN or RS422-A/RS422-B ports (WS/4) or COM 2 and COM 5 Ports (WS/5 & WS/5A)

02 It goes without saying that pos machine are useless without the connecting cables. The latter connect printers to your computer or other devices including cameras and high-end IT gadgets. Printer cables are often sold with the printer but some companies sell these items separately.

These cables come with a USB connector, often at 480 mbps data transfer capability which is ideal for printing. There are different USB printer cables namely: USB Type A, Type B, Mini B4 and B5 pin and Micro USB A-B.

A serial printer cable has 25-pin serial cable on its ends. Others have 9-pin. It allows swift data transfer but then, there are only few devices compatible with them.

Parallel cable. This is a DB25 male connector. The female end(on the left) plugs into your device(printer, scanner, card reader, etc). The male end on the right plugs into your computer.
Ethernet cable. Ethernet ports on a router.
